Yea! new book! =) I don't know what it's called yet but it's about a wizard(girl), a Knight(boy), a Speak(girl)(a Speak can communicate with the elements), an Animal Master(boy)(he's trains animals and can speak with them, basically a different version of a speak) and a Prince(if you can't tell the gender you have something wrong with your head) who are sent to find out who is blackmailing the queen of Hormenta (Hor-men-ta). I have the prologue and first chapter all ready written in first draft format. I have an animate drawing of the queen and the wizard all ready and A.T. read it so far and says she loved it. The main character is the wizard, Annica (aw-ni-kah) and it's funny cause I didn't mean for her to be the main character, but it's a good thing. The Knight's name is Penn (he prefers Sir Penn). The Speak's name is Storm. The Animal Master's name is Conrad. The Prince of Dilliannia's(Dill-e-anna) named Arvin and he doesn't join until about a third of the way through the book. The Queen's name is Bernabella. So yeah, other than that I don't know anything really. I'm thinking about entering this book in the Dragon Comet Contest for next year but I won't find out until I finish the last draft, because there's a page limit for the contest.
I'm really excited for this book, I have a feeling I'll actually get pretty far in writing it, if not finishing the entry book.

Random Musings of Dancey
Kay, I need to post here more often.
I decided to have Orion, the youngest of the Larsen family, to come to Arianna in the first book.
I seem to be getting more ideas on the second book (the Golden Soul) than I am on Arianna. I need to focus on finishing the first book first though. I wish that it was more easy for me to focus on one thing, I need to work on that too.
Sorry, this is just my train of thought at the moment.

I'm keeping Arianna!
Kay, I've decided to go ahead and write Arianna still, I just put so much work into it I can't not do it. So right now that's what I'll be working on.

Kaitlynn Jankensen
((Kay, thought it's not Phoenix Speak it's an idea I have for the new version of Echoma. I guess I haven't decided how I'm officially going to wright this new version, this is just an idea. copyright 2009))
All right, not many strange things had happened in my life before Mr. Haywood Rightly showed up at my foster home when I was eleven years-old. Ever scene then my life became completely hectic.
I'm Kaitlynn Jankensen, at lest, that's what everyone calls me. I don't really know the name that my parents gave me or my actual birthday. A man I hardly know found me on his front porch without a note, letter, or any sing of an explanation of my past. He sent me to a foster home about a weak after he found me and I've only seen him once since.
When Mr. Rightly found me I was lonely and I never let anyone in my little shell of protection. The only way I can really explain it is to out right tell you my past. It really began sort of like this, well, my real life, anyway.
It was an early morning in July and my current foster mother had all ready called up the stairs when she called again,"Miss Jankensen, come down here this instant!" I sighed. Don't get me wrong, Mrs. Hendersen was a wonderful lady, most of the time. I puled on my shirt and straitened my hair as I left my room. I tromped down the stairs and stopped short at seeing a man in a formal suit standing in the doorway.
"Miss Kaitlynn Jackensen this is Mr. Haywood Rightly, he is here to talk to you about an opportunity to go to a privet school up north." She hurried off to leave us in peace without any other expiation. Mr. Rightly looked uncomfortable and was absentmindedly toying with the hat in his hands.
"Miss Jankensen, I apologize for my earliness in the morning, but this mater could not wait for another hour. Your life is in danger and nothing other than going to Midnight Academy could possibly make you any safer. Because your a foster child you will have no tuition to pay and all you need to do is pack up your bags and take the test...."he quickly started talking faster and faster till the point where I didn't understand a word after 'test'.
"Sir, I must insist that you talk at a more comprehensible speed." at this he started to blush. It's sort of unnerving to see a man in his late twenty's or early thirty's blush, I must say. "And dare I ask why any one would want to injure or kill a foster girl of only eleven?"
"That is a very sensible question. I don't know why, but it is so. It may be because of your possibility of being a member of the Council, but no one is for sure yet on that mater."
"Council?" I was starting to think this was a really weird dream and pinched myself to try to wake up. Nothing happened.
"Oh, yes, I forgot that most foster children don't know about the Great Council. Sorry if I'm not making any since, I'm not used to explaining things very well. I was sent unexpectedly by the Phoenix King to retrieve you as quickly as possible, no time to prepare. Anyways, your foster mother has no clue who I really am but that is perfectly fine."
I quickly interrupted him before he started to talk too fast again, "Who's the Phoenix King?"
"His name is Mr. Jay Lucas, and he's the most powerful person alive, he's also the first member of the Council." Mr. Rightly paused in case I had any more questions.
I took a deep breath and asked, "are you a member of this council?" I felt like it wasn't my place to ask, but I couldn't help it.
"I'm the sixteenth Council member and my title is the Master of the Spears. If that is understandable enough, then please, may I continue?" I nodded and he said, "If you have any objections to going to Midnight Academy then speak now, scene this is an order from the Phoenix King himself you are required to go unless you have any reasonable reason for not going."
I laughed silently to my self, 'reasonable reason'! I said in a slightly weaker voice, "I have no objection of going to this school, but I must ask, will, on my arrival, I be given more information on what is going on?" I hated talking so proper, I was terrible at it and loathed the requirement of thinking of what I was going to say before I said it. But it was standard expectation that such intelligent language was to be used in the presence of some one you're less acquainted with.
"Yes, for the most part. But if you are an actual member of the council then you'd find out more at your first council meting than from anyone else. Shall we be off?" he gestured to the door hesitantly.
"But, Sir, I haven't even packed!" I realized that I didn't really know what I was doing accepting a strangers offer to go to some school I hadn't even heard of. "Nor have we informed Mrs. Hendersen." I added quickly.
"Mrs. Hendersen will not even need to be told for at this time tomorrow she will have completely forgotten your existence. And while we have been speaking Your things have been packed."
"Before she forgets me would she not call on the police?"I was only faintly disturbed with some one else packing my stuff for me.
"No such thing will even cross her mind. Magic is a powerful thing and those who can't control it have no power over it." part of me didn't want to trust him, but if my things were all ready packed and I was free to dump this place then I was all for it.
"Kay, I guess I'm ready to go." I hardly realized I was slacking off on my language, but I didn't really care. At my words a lady appeared at the top of the stair case with several bags in her hands. She quietly descended and came up to us.
"Haywood, I got every thing." she whispered quietly.
"Kay, Kaitlynn, you ready? Of course you are, lets go." He was whispering too. It didn't feel all that odd for him to call me by my first name, even though I know it should. I nodded and we started for the door.

Pheoenix Speak
All right people of the Earth, prepare your self's for the newest, smaller, improved version of the Tales of Echoma! Well, it's more like tale now.... Anyways, I've been working on this idea ever since I last posted hear. I have the main character mostly figured out, now I just need to write and make sure I don't really need to add a new character for the first book of eight. I might make it nine books but that's very doubtful. The reason I want eight books is because I want each book to have a color them for the cover, I know that sounds like a lame reason but I don't really care. the color them is this: 1 orange, 2 white, 3 yellow, 4 green, 5 violet, 6 red, 7 blue, 8 black and if I have gold that would be the 9th book. There is no reason for the order other than each color is the color of the flag of a country that most of the book takes place. I can't have more than nine books because of that. I don't really know what to say that isn't still delicate info. When I get the books written then you'll find out why it's called Phoenix Speak.

I Think I'm reconsidering....
Okay, well after estimating several times I figured that if I write the Echoma series like I have it on my first post I'll take forever to do it. I need to down size the Tales of Echoma (or TE) until I can actually think it's possible for me to reach the goal on my first post. I'll not completely abandon the ideas of those books, but I'll not try to work on any of them for now. I need to become more professional and start making goals that I can actually accomplish. So, I'm going to create a story line that combines most of the stores together. There are a few I want to keep separate like the Dawn of Arissia and the Gifted and the Cursed, manly because those are newer books I've made up, the Gifted... is not part of the Tales of Echoma and the Dawn of Arissia is so separate from the other books of Echoma.
the reason I can't just work on one of the series I all ready have is because all of the series are so intertwined if I do one I have to do them all. I'll also make new characters cause the ones I all ready have are so poorly planed out that I am just having them do what I would do with my writing and they practically are me.
I'm probably not making any scene but I'm just saying that I'm going to completely change Echoma. Well, once I figure out what I'm doing I'll post about it.

How to Pronoce Nemetonson
I'll make this sort. The book I'm working on right now is Nemetonson. and to my dispare every one pronounces it wrong. (Ha, the same way how a character in Nemetonson all ways thinks every one pronounces her name wrong.) The way it is pronounced is like this: Nem-e-ten-shun. You know this is English we're speaking. Things are a lot of the time spelled different then they're pronounced. I rest my case.

An Intro to Echoma
Alright, any one reading this should know about my other blog. I'm probably post a lot less here than on my other blog. This is my blog focusing on my books, not my general life. The Tales of Echoma is the main series over most of my stores. The two or three books that don't belong in this series will still be posted on this blog. All of my sub-series are listed below:
Arianna: number of books estimated is under debate. At lest five.
Nemetonson: six books
The Last Guardian: one novel. note: closely connected to Nemetonson
Austin and Shelby: six books (number may be reduced)
Menonen: one novel
Remember: four books. note: a main story that happens several centuries after Menonen, on the same continent.
The Story of Aroago: one novel.
Resiting Control: four books.
Faires' Sunset: two books
Journal: number of books will not be determined until the story is completely written out.
Vam-Wolfs: eight books
*Mindmorfers
*Ice Travelers
*The Phoenix Tale
*note: books with a * all belong in the same, unnamed book.
Dawn of Arissia: undetermined.
Anneima: a large novel that connects all the stories in the entire series.
~The Gifted and the Cursed: undetermined. note: ~ means this book doesn't belong to the Tales of Echoma.
note: most of the books I plan to publish in the order above.
Oh, yeah! I have a pen name I'll go by on this blog. The full pen name is Dancey M. Grant, but I'll just sigh off saying...

P.S. I had a lot more books that I'll write if I have enough time in my life to write them. =)
